CHRS, Inc. recently designed and produced three interpretive panels for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), as part of SEPTA’s ongoing program of station renovations. Two panels mounted in the waiting room of the refurbished Ambler train station convey the station’s history through text and historic photographs, as well as the Borough’s configuration at the close of the nineteenth century (see above). The panel mounted in the renovated North Wales station provides an overview of the North Pennsylvania Railroad’s nineteenth-century inception and development, along with the railroad’s contribution to North Wales’ growth (see below).
