At the Transportation Research Board’s annual meeting in Washington DC on January 14, 2014, Ken Basalik was a presenter at a poster session sponsored by the ADC50 subcommittee. Entitled “Confining Archaeological Mitigation to the APE: Addressing Research Questions Now and Looking to the Future,” Dr. Basalik discussed solutions to the problem of archaeological sites that extend beyond the boundaries of transportation projects.
